Have a giant comparison picspam of Downton Abbey and the new Upstairs, Downstairs.  Possibly the only comparison post I've seen that likes both, instead of trying to prove one is better than the other.  (I preferred DA to the new UpDown, but that's because it was longer and UpDown seemed to mostly be testing the waters for interest in the property ( Read more... )

Upstairs, Downstairs is one of the grandmamas* of TV period dramas.
